International "Upper Rhine Rowing Regatta" on May 27/28, 2000 in Mannheim/GER

Mannheim Rows The "Meile"
The "Mannheimer Meile": That's the 1852 meters distance only rowed here in Mannheim, nowhere else. And in the meantime this characteristic has developed into a wonderful tradition, for every year the international rowing elite gathers here for the "Oberrheinische Ruderregatta" (in English: "Upper Rhine Rowing Regatta"). And the year 2000 will see yet another start at the Mannheim "Mühlau" harbour: the new future-oriented regatta concept of the "Mannheimer Meile".

Mannheim Supports Youth
The Mannheim Regatta Concept is both new and unique in Germany: It has developed a competition system that is tailored exactly to our talented B teams and Junior A teams. Younger rowers compete against high-performance athletes from top categories in totally new mixed competition races. Curious? Then simply try out the "Oberrheinische Ruderregatta" concept.
